Smartphone Gesture Practice For Seniors
Over the years, I've watched my grandparents use smartphones, tablets and other
touchscreen devices and really struggle with the touch and gestural input. There is a hesitation that occurs before, during and after many interactions and in many
cases is related to one of the following:
1. Concern about pressing the wrong button accidentally and ending
up in an unintended location in the vast digital world.
2. Confusion about why the phone is not responding as anticipated.
3. Fear of deleting important information and not being able to retrieve it.
The gesture training app is intended to help seniors practice common gestures in a safe space and build their confidence in their ability to use this technology.
